Role Overview

iRocket is on a rapid growth trajectory. To support that growth sustainably, we’re looking for a passionate HR & People Operations Lead to build and scale HR systems, drive talent initiatives, and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.

The Role

* Lead full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retention strategies
* Develop people operations policies, handbooks, performance management systems
* Administer compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, and HR compliance
* Promote employee engagement, training, development, and wellness programs
* Oversee HR metrics, reporting, and data-driven decision making
* Serve as trusted HR business partner to leadership and teams
* Ensure legal compliance and audit readiness (labor laws, OSHA, EEO)

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
* 5+ years of progressive HR experience (startup or engineering environment preferred)
* Hands-on experience with recruiting, performance management, compensation
* Strong understanding of HR laws, compliance, and best practices
* Experience implementing HR systems (HRIS, ATS)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and confidence in resolving conflicts
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, evolving environment
