Food 4 Education (F4E) is a pioneering African-led, women-led social enterprise, leveraging technology, smart operations, and logistics to provide low-cost, high-quality meals that enhance nutrition and education outcomes for primary school children in Kenya. We are on a mission to scale models of efficient supply chain management and sustainable sourcing to continually lower the cost of school lunches. Since 2012, we’ve delivered over 40,000,000 meals, and by 2027, our goal is to serve at least 1,000,000 public primary school students every day. 1. Associate Data Engineer
As an Associate Data Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department. You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the data infrastructure that supports our growing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Ensure the quality and reliability of our data storage systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to build efficient data solutions.
- Optimize the performance of databases and ensure data security.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all data-related processes.
2. Senior Manager – European Partnerships
The Senior Manager – European Partnerships role in the Fundraising Department focuses on expanding F4E’s network of European partners to drive fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of fundraising strategies targeting European donors.
- Cultivate relationships with international organizations and foundations.
- Create and manage partnership proposals and presentations.
- Track and report on the performance of partnership initiatives.
3. Field Program Officer
As a Field Program Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management of F4E’s school feeding programs in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of school feeding programs at designated locations.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders, including schools, parents, and community leaders.
- Monitor the effectiveness of program delivery and food distribution.
- Ensure that program objectives are met and report on field activities.
4. Decentralized Regional Coordinator
As a Decentralized Regional Coordinator, you will oversee the expansion of F4E’s operations to new regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the regional planning and execution of F4E’s initiatives.
- Manage relationships with local authorities and community groups.
- Oversee the logistics and coordination of meal distribution in new regions.
- Ensure the smooth onboarding of new schools into the program.
5. Warehouse and Inventory Analyst
The Warehouse and Inventory Analyst will support the Operations Department in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the warehouse inventory system.
- Track the flow of goods and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast inventory needs.
- Monitor and report on inventory performance metrics.
6. Community Associate
As a Community Associate in the Policy & Partnerships Department, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with F4E’s community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage community engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with local leaders to enhance F4E’s visibility and impact.
- Organize and facilitate community events and feedback sessions.
- Represent F4E at local meetings and forums.
7. Talent Development Manager
The Talent Development Manager will lead efforts in developing and retaining F4E’s talent, ensuring that our employees grow alongside the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement training programs that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct career reviews and help employees define their development plans.
- Oversee the mentorship and onboarding programs.
- Track the performance and progress of employees within the development programs.
