Key Responsibilities
As a Field Sales Representative, your primary duties will include:
- Developing Sales Strategies: Formulate effective sales plans to maximize sales within your designated territory.
- Driving Sales: Proactively drive sales efforts to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Building Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and repeat business.
- Conducting Market Research: Analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Using CRM Software: Proficiently utilize sales CRM software to track customer interactions, manage accounts, and report on sales activities.
- Coordinating with the Sales Team: Collaborate with the regional sales team to align on strategies and share insights on customer preferences.
- Reporting Progress: Regularly report to the Regional Sales Manager on sales activities, challenges, and opportunities within the territory.
- Traveling Frequently: Commit to frequent travel within the assigned territory to meet clients and foster relationships.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in the Field Sales Representative role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry, is essential.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets within a designated territory.
- Educational Background: A high school diploma is required; a diploma in business administration, marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and close sales.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
