Your Mission as a Sales Executive
As a Sales Executive at Glovo, you will be an essential part of our sales team, driving growth by signing up new local stores and corporate clients onto our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to create and manage a sales pipeline that leads to sustainable partnerships with both small local stores and larger brands. This is a field-based role where you’ll have the chance to seal deals, build relationships, and contribute to the company’s revenue goals.
You will have the support of a local Head of Sales and a collaborative sales team, ensuring you have all the tools necessary to succeed in your role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Executive, your day-to-day duties will include the following:
- Build and manage a pipeline: Identify and approach local stores and corporate clients that align with Glovo’s goals.
- Negotiate partnerships: Engage in negotiations with potential partners to onboard them onto the Glovo platform.
- Ensure profitability: Work to make sure that each deal meets the required profitability standards.
- Long-term partnerships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners to ensure ongoing collaboration.
- Daily pipeline updates: Keep your sales pipeline up-to-date with all the necessary details and actions taken.
- Collaborative teamwork: Work closely with your team to learn, grow, and innovate while contributing to the overall success of Glovo.
- Field trips: Regularly engage in fieldwork to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with local businesses.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is passionate about sales. Here’s what we’re looking for in a candidate:
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales (having key contacts in the industry is a plus).
- Full professional proficiency in English and the local language of the country.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals and exceeding targets.
- A methodical and fast learner who is familiar with CRM tools, such as Salesforce.
- A passion for sales and a desire to be a hunter for new opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with local stores and corporate clients.
- Familiarity with on-demand or tech-driven businesses.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline while contributing to team goals.
