Skills Provision Ltd is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join a leading automotive repair and maintenance company based in Essex, United Kingdom. The employer specializes in servicing premium brands such as Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and Porsche.

Working Hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (45 hours/week)

Main Responsibilities
-
Diagnose and identify vehicle faults accurately
-
Perform scheduled repairs and routine maintenance tasks
-
Maintain detailed records of work completed and in progress
-
Test vehicle systems and components post-repair
-
Conduct basic vehicle services, including oil changes and tyre replacements
-
Deliver high standards of customer service and satisfaction
Candidate Requirements
-
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a vehicle mechanic
-
Formal automotive qualifications (Preferred)
-
Previous dealership experience (Highly desirable)

Strong knowledge of Diesel and Petrol engines

Skilled in:
-
Engine rebuilding
-
Head gasket replacement
-
Timing chain adjustments
-
-
Experience working with premium automotive brands such as:

Jaguar Land Rover
-
Mercedes-Benz
-
BMW
-
Audi/Volkswagen

Porsche
-
-
Basic knowledge of vehicle electrics (Advantageous)

Valid UK Driving License or an International Driving Permit (Conversion assistance available)

Positive, proactive attitude
