Key Responsibilities
As a Video Editor at Family Media TV, you will be responsible for the following:
- Manipulate and edit video footage to create engaging content that resonates with our audience.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand the project’s needs and objectives.
- Trim and arrange video segments to ensure smooth, logical, and professional sequences.
- Add music, sound effects, dialogue, and graphics to enhance the video’s overall appeal and storytelling.
- Create both rough and final video cuts, ensuring each version meets production standards.
- Stay updated with the latest editing technologies and industry trends to continuously improve editing processes.
- Ensure proper archiving and cataloging of all media content for future use.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this Video Editor position, you should meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing, preferably within a television or media production environment.
- Proficiency in digital technology and editing software, including Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro.
- A diploma or degree in video editing, film studies, or a related field.
- A creative mindset and strong storytelling skills that will drive innovative video content.
- Excellent communication skills, as well as organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics to deliver high-quality visual experiences.
