Key Responsibilities
As a Visual Merchandiser Intern at Victoria Courts, you will work on a wide range of tasks, including:
1. Design & Layout of the Showroom
• Assist in the creation of showroom layouts that maximize usability and enhance visual appeal.
• Work collaboratively with the team to produce attractive vignettes that showcase different furniture sets and accent pieces.
• Ensure that the showroom is maintained in pristine condition and regularly updated to reflect seasonal trends and new product arrivals.
2. Visual Merchandising
• Participate in the development of compelling and innovative displays that enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Implement merchandising strategies that cater to a high-end clientele while adhering to the brand’s guidelines.
• Track product placements and make necessary adjustments based on customer feedback and sales data.
3. Trend Analysis
• Stay updated on the latest trends in color schemes, luxury furnishings, and interior design.
• Conduct research on emerging trends and provide creative input for showroom displays.
4. Collaboration
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure that visual displays align with marketing and sales objectives.
• Assist in organizing seasonal showroom updates and events.
• Collaborate with the buying team to recommend products that complement showroom design concepts.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel as a Visual Merchandiser Intern at Victoria Courts, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
• A Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
• A keen eye for design and an understanding of the principles of visual merchandising.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
