This is a unique opportunity to architect the future of talent acquisition at Coursedog. From implementing our ATS (Rippling) to designing equitable hiring processes and sourcing strategies, you’ll partner cross-functionally to attract top talent and ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring team experience at every touchpoint.
Why Coursedog?
At Coursedog, we take ownership, operate with a growth mindset, and obsess over the customer experience. We are a remote-first company driven by impact, and we’re building a team that reflects the diversity and ambition of the institutions we serve. If you’re passionate about creating systems, scaling people processes, and shaping how a company grows—this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and scale our recruiting function, laying the foundation for how we attract, engage, and hire world-class talent
* Lead full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles (technical and non-technical), owning everything from intake to close
* Implement and optimize our ATS (Rippling) to support scalable, data-informed recruiting workflows
* Expand and diversify sourcing channels, with a focus on proactive outreach and tapping into underrepresented talent pools
* Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, structure interview processes, and make confident, equitable hiring decisions
* Champion candidate experience ensuring thoughtful, transparent, and timely communication throughout the process
* Use data to drive decisions, including pipeline metrics, time-to-fill, and conversion rates
* Continuously evaluate and iterate on processes, leveraging feedback and AI-enabled tools to drive efficiency and scalability
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
* Proficient with ATS platforms; experience implementing or managing Rippling is a plus
* A creative and strategic sourcer, skilled at engaging both active and passive candidates
* Strong collaborator, able to influence and align with hiring managers across departments
* Builder’s mindset—you’re energized by ambiguity and excited to create systems where none exist
* Curious and innovative, with an interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve recruiting workflows, reduce bias, and enhance efficiency
* Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and eager to embed inclusive practices into every stage of the hiring process
* Clear, empathetic communicator who inspires confidence and delivers a high-touch experience for candidates and stakeholders alike
Nice to Have
* Hands-on experience with Rippling ATS / HRIS
* Familiarity with AI-enabled recruiting tools (e.g., sourcing automation, candidate rediscovery, interview scheduling assistants)
* Background in remote-first or distributed team hiring
* Background in recruiting operations, employer branding, or workforce planning initiatives
Working at Coursedog
Healthcare, Dental & Vision
We follow a fixed contribution model to ensure equity and transparency. Each employee receives the same annual dollar amount to allocate toward their medical, dental, and vision coverage. This empowers you to select the plan that best meets your needs — whether it’s a base-level plan or a more comprehensive option.
Depending on the selected coverage level, the company covers:
* Employee-only coverage: 99% to 55% of monthly premiums
* Employee + dependents: 77% to 43% of monthly premiums
We proudly partner with Aetna and Guardian, and offer access to best-in-class wellness perks including:
* Spring Health (mental health support)
* XP Health (vision benefits)
* Carrot Fertility (family planning)
* One Medical (primary care)
We also support pre-tax savings through Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
Retirement Planning
To support long-term financial health, we offer a 401(k) plan from day one of employment.
Beginning January 1, 2026, we’ll provide a 4% employer match on your annual salary (subject to federal limits) for employees contributing to a tax-advantaged retirement account.
Paid Time Off
We trust our employees to manage their time responsibly. That’s why we offer an unlimited Paid Time Off policy — because flexibility and balance are critical for sustained excellence and personal well-being.
Remote-First Since Inception
We were built for distributed work. Our culture emphasizes flexibility over rigidity, outcomes over hours, and transparency over gatekeeping. We are committed to being a remote-first organization indefinitely, empowering you to work where and how you thrive best.
Equity
As a valued contributor to our collective success, you’ll participate in the upside. All employees are granted equity in the company, with vesting aligned to your role and tenure. Equity grants are reviewed and adjusted with promotions to reflect your evolving impact.
