Job Description: What You’ll Do

About The Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Pharmacy Operations Specialist to join our team remotely -or- at HQ in Des Moines, IA.  In this role, you will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, and implementing technology-driven solutions to enhance our pharmacy operations. This role sits at the intersection of operations, technology, and process improvement, ensuring seamless medication management, improved queue management, and scalable workflows.

What You’ll Do

* Oversee end-to-end prescription fulfillment to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and service consistency.

* Manage daily communication with pharmacy partners and internal teams to address operational needs.

* Act as the primary escalation point for internal stakeholders regarding fulfillment issues.

* Track and analyze SLA performance, ensuring compliance and highlighting areas for improvement.

* Generate and present reports on key metrics to inform strategic decisions

* Identify recurring fulfillment issues and collaborate internally and externally to implement solutions.

* Drive continuous process improvements to enhance fulfillment workflows and partner satisfaction.

* Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.

* 2-3 years of experience in operations, workflow optimization, or process improvement within healthcare or tech preferred 

* Demonstrated success in identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable cross-functional solutions. 

* Strong analytical and organizational skills.

* Basic technical knowledge (e.g., system workflows, ticketing tools, CRM platforms).

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.

 

Remote Salary Range: $68,000 USD – $79,000 USD
