About The Role
The Senior Recruiter II at DigitalOcean is a strategic talent acquisition partner responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for GTM and sales roles. This role requires a proactive individual with extensive experience in high-volume recruiting, particularly within sales or go-to-market functions. The Senior Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers, senior leadership, and external partners to identify, attract, and secure top-tier talent that aligns with the company’s growth objectives. The role involves developing sourcing strategies, building diverse candidate pipelines, and ensuring a seamless hiring experience. Additionally, the Senior Recruiter will serve as a brand ambassador, promoting DigitalOcean’s values and culture to prospective candidates and within the broader talent community.
Qualifications
* 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, managing multiple high-volume roles
* 3+ years of sales or go-to-market recruiting experience
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders up to VP level
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills
* Experience sourcing through channels like LinkedIn, Github, Stack Overflow, and local networks
* Familiarity with recruiting tools such as Greenhouse, Google Suites, and LinkedIn
* Understanding of equity, benefits, and compensation packages
* Experience working in startup or high-growth environments
* Excellent organizational and project management skills
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse talent pools and hiring managers
Responsibilities
* Partner with hiring managers, PBPs, and stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience
* Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for a minimum of 15 roles simultaneously
* Collaborate with hiring managers to finalize job descriptions and candidate qualifications
* Lead sourcing efforts, utilizing creative strategies to build a diverse pipeline of candidates
* Conduct candidate evaluations, interviews, and negotiations to close high-quality hires
* Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement
* Participate in strategy meetings to align recruitment efforts with business goals
* Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting DigitalOcean’s values and culture to prospective candidates
* Develop relationships with diversity organizations and community groups to enhance talent sourcing
* Monitor labor market trends and industry intelligence to inform sourcing strategies
