Key Responsibilities: Leadership with Purpose and Compassion
As a Unit Nurse Manager, your core responsibility is to ensure that your team delivers the highest standard of care to residents with complex mental health needs. You will act as the clinical lead, working closely with multidisciplinary professionals to uphold the principles of person-centred care.
Your daily duties will include:

Your Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
- NMC registration (or eligibility to register if applying from abroad)
- Proven experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a care home or hospital
- Familiarity with frameworks such as:
- Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
- Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
- CQC or Care Inspectorate standards
- Strong knowledge of current clinical practices and mental health strategies
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead a diverse care team
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with older adults and patients with dementia
- Strong verbal and written communication
