Job Description: What You’ll Do
We are looking for a talented and visionary Art Director to join our team on a contract basis in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for visual storytelling and a strong background in the home, fashion, or beauty industries. You will lead creative efforts across digital, social media, print, and experiential platforms, ensuring our brand stands out and resonates with target audiences.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute visually compelling campaigns that align with brand standards and strategic goals.
• Provide creative direction for photoshoots and videoshoots, ensuring content aligns with home, fashion, or beauty industry trends.
• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, photographers, and videographers to bring creative concepts to life.
• Design and implement social media strategies tailored to platform-specific requirements, including Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok.
• Create engaging content such as videos, stories, and reels optimized for user engagement and platform algorithms.
• Monitor industry trends and integrate them into creative strategies to maintain brand relevance and appeal.
• Experiment with innovative formats, technologies, and storytelling techniques to elevate brand presence.
• Communicate creative vision and objectives effectively to stakeholders and team members for seamless execution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in art direction or a creative role, with a portfolio showcasing work in home, fashion, or beauty industries.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; knowledge of motion graphics tools like After Effects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, including design, color, composition, and typography.
• Familiarity with social media best practices, engagement tactics, and platform-specific algorithms.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute campaigns in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for pitching and presenting creative ideas.
• Knowledge of e-commerce or retail marketing in the home, fashion, or beauty sectors is preferred.
• Experience with emerging technologies such as AR/VR or AI design tools is a plus.
