SALARY RANGE: $27.46 to $33.56 hourly
JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW: The Elevate Queer Yolo Program Coordinator provides coordination to the Elevate Youth California grant program funded by DHCS, which functions within CCHC as Elevate Queer Yolo. The Elevate Queer Yolo Program Coordinator provides oversight of goals and objectives for the Elevate Youth California grant, for expanding and enhancing behavioral health services for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA)+ Youth (12-26) in Yolo County.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/TRAINING
* Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in behavioral health field preferred.
* Experience/Lived Experience:
Lived experience as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community preferred and a minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating outreach events and activities preferred.
* Special Skills/Training:
* Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
* Must provide proof of current driver’s license and auto insurance.
* BLS Certification Required.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Oversees grant reporting and data collection and statistics as required by grant.
Facilitates social support groups with trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches to support LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults.
Provides outreach and education to local schools and collaborates with their Gender and Sexuality Alliance groups on campus.
Supports engagement and facilitation of youth and young adult listening sessions to elicit feedback and engagement from youth and young adults in the community, with a minimum of one listening session per year.
Provides both community and internal outreach and on available LGBTQIA+ services at CCOLE.
Develop educational and written materials (brochures, flyers, social media posts, webinars) for distribution to clients, community members, and partner agencies, as well as social media.
Collaborates with CCOLE colleagues and peers on case management and linking LGBTQIA+ clients to care for mental health and substance use services.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures to improve community engagement activities, including data tracking systems and improving direct clinical referral systems.
Represent Elevate Queer Yolo and related programs at partnership meetings, summits, collaboratives, and coalitions.
Participate in CCOLE’s Gender & Sexuality Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.
Communicate proactively with Associate Director of Youth and Family Services and support with problem solving and project development efforts.
Maintain positive relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Participate in staff meetings, provide feedback, and troubleshoot barriers faced by clients.
Maintain updated inventory of program supplies of outreach materials and necessary ordering.
Attend training/conferences as arranged.
Complete necessary documentation and tracking in a timely manner.
Responsible for remaining within established ethical standards, including those of confidentiality.
Responsible for maintaining the standards as listed in the CCOLE Health Centers Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual , and any other standards which may apply to this position.
