About The Role
The Graphic Designer at Sandstone Care plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s marketing initiatives by creating visually compelling digital assets that enhance brand visibility and engagement. Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing graphics for various platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials. The role also involves light video editing using tools like CapCut or Premier to support social media content and website updates. This position offers a flexible work environment, with the possibility of remote work, though some travel may be required. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of digital design principles, UX, and branding consistency. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a growing organization while honing their skills in digital marketing and graphic design.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role
* Proficiency in Canva and other graphic design platforms
* Experience with WordPress and basic HTML/CSS (preferred but not mandatory)
* Strong portfolio demonstrating illustration and graphic design skills
* Knowledge of graphic design principles and user experience (UX) best practices
* Creative flair with the ability to think innovatively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities
* Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms and marketing materials
* Create and manage digital assets such as web banners, landing pages, email newsletters, and social media graphics
* Update and manage website content using WordPress, including scheduling blog posts, editing service descriptions, and adding new pages
* Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to produce visually engaging content for blogs, social media, and other campaigns
* Design branded PowerPoint templates and stylize research and white paper documents
* Perform high-quality photo editing and retouching for promotional materials
* Integrate photographs effectively within website layouts, considering image size and placement
* Organize and maintain a graphics database for easy asset retrieval
* Develop scalable graphic design request processes for organizational support
* Create website graphics, animations, and image manipulations to enhance user experience
* Coordinate with team members to ensure brand consistency and support marketing goals
* Stay updated on industry trends and suggest innovative ideas for marketing improvements
* Build and stylize forms, quizzes, and lead magnets to support marketing campaigns
