Jose Hospitality Pty Ltd is seeking talented and passionate individuals to join their culinary and front-of-house team at the newly renovated Stamford Park Homestead in Rowville, Melbourne. With a rich heritage dating back to 1882, the Homestead has been thoughtfully restored to become a premier dining and events destination in Knox City.
This unique venue features:

Available Positions
1. Sous Chef / Chef de Partie / Chef Roles (AUD $75,000 – $105,000)
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present food items as per the menu
-
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
-
Work closely with the Head Chef in menu development and new recipe creation
-
Accept and check deliveries, ensuring accuracy of invoices and freshness of products
-
Uphold workplace health and safety (WHS) and HACCP guidelines
-
Oversee smooth day-to-day kitchen operations and staff supervision
-
Breakfast and pastry preparation experience is highly desirable
2. Kitchen Crew – All Levels (AUD $65,000 – $75,000)

Requirements:

Proven kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Passion for delivering top-quality dishes consistently

3. Front-of-House (FOH) Roles – Full-Time & Casuals

Key Requirements:
-
Enthusiasm and commitment to providing outstanding customer service
-
Previous experience in A La Carte restaurant/bar settings, handling large volumes of tables and tray service

Strong knowledge of POS systems, ordering, and cash handling
-
Excellent wine knowledge, including the ability to make recommendations
-
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
-
Willingness to undergo comprehensive training programs
-
Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Qualifications & Experience Required
-
Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant roles (chef, kitchen crew, or FOH)
-
Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and OH&S standards
-
Experience with risk assessment techniques (HACCP preferred)
-
Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
-
Ability to work efficiently in a team-driven environment
-
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
-
For FOH roles: sound coffee and bar-tending skills are advantageous
